The Vale Golf and Country Club is set in the heart of Evesham offering golfers and guests fantastic golf, conference and meeting facilities.
Due to the rural location of the golf club, they had been experiencing connectivity issues for a long period of time. This had presented a number of problems with regard to the day-to-day operations within the golf club for staff and the pro-shop.
We have implemented an innovative access solution using a Nano Beam to extend their connectivity from one of their groups company’s sites 2km away. This has improved the capacity, quality and reliability of connectivity across the site.
A new WiFi solution has been installed with a number of dedicated networks for members, staff and guests. This also includes an analytics package for the Guest Network which allows staff to monitor usage and access as well as marketing activities through push notifications and splash pages.
Creating a separate network’s for staff, members and guests, allows different polices to be applied to different sets of users, all on the same network. This provides security for company communication and devices, whilst prioritising internet access to all users as they require it.
This also improves the level of security within the business as payments and personal data are held on a separate network which can only be accessed by members of staff.
The telephone network has replaced a Mitel system with a Hosted Voice service running over the Nano Beam link which has helped them to significantly reduce their costs on line rental and calls.
